We went last summer. I was in awe at the work a d realistic work that went into this place. Walking through the different states by looking through the glass windows was like being there. Amazing place.
Great diamond in the rough. Excellent displays. Well done and interactive. Extremely nice folks in each building. Lots to see and buy. No pressure from any of the staff to purchase anything, which I was sort of worried about before going in. Absolutely must stop if a collector. Spent a little less than 2 hours there.
Choo-choo ?? Kinda neat. Kinda pricey. Great for little kids. Your teens wont be amused. Nothing is to scale or even remotely realistic. Just a hodge podge of toys placed around trains. Friendly staff.
This is an awesome place to see beautiful and very detailed train setups. Also they have some trains for sale, and a cool civil war-era depot. Red and Judy are very enthusiastic and accommodating. Highly recommend this place for train lovers of all ages!
So much to see. A labor of love for sure. Close to Des Moines and very inexpensive.
